Sprouting or "Activating" Legumes

I've been learning about better nutrition lately and found that "activating" legumes will make them a whole lot more nutricious. It is simple to do so I thought I'd show you.

Soak dried legumes overnight in water. The next day drain and place them in a sieve or collander. Wash them twice a day under cold water and within a few days you will notice that they have "sprouted". After 2-3 days either freeze them for later use or add them to soup or salad. Yum!
