Chemical Free Surface Cleaner

Since having children, I've tried to keep our house as chemical free as possible. Here is my recipe for surface cleaner which I use mostly in the kitchen although it isn't limited to that area.

1 third white vinegar to two thirds water. Add approx. 10 drops of tea tree oil to every 500ml of mixture.

Tea tree oil is found in the cosmetic isle of the supermarket. It has wonderful antiseptic properties although so does vinegar so you don't actually have to put the tea tree in but it does add a nice extra aroma. I shake the bottle before use if you have the tea tree oil in it as it tends to all float on the top of the mixture unless it's shaken through.

This mix is as cheap as chips, why don't you give it a go!
